Overview

BroadBand Light

BroadBand Light is our workhorse for sun-worn, uneven skin. Pulses of filtered light reach below the surface to lift unwanted pigment, calm redness, and fade the marks of the Arizona sun, while gently prompting your skin to build fresh collagen. BroadBand Light sends out a wide band of wavelengths and filters it down to the range your skin needs, which is why one handpiece can be aimed at very different things.

We run it on Sciton's BBL® HEROic™, the current generation of the platform. It delivers its energy in fast, well-cooled pulses, which is what keeps a full treatment pass comfortable.

The effect compounds, visit over visit: brighter, clearer, more even tone and texture, with little to no downtime. It pairs beautifully with HALO, the laser side of our menu, and together they treat tone, texture, and pigment in one rejuvenation plan.

BBL or HALO?

The question we get most, and the honest answer is that they do different jobs. Many plans use both. Your provider maps which one your skin needs at your free consultation.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What is a BBL® photofacial?
BroadBand Light is our workhorse for sun-worn, uneven skin. Pulses of filtered light reach below the surface to lift unwanted pigment, calm redness, and fade the marks of the Arizona sun, while gently prompting your skin to build fresh collagen. BroadBand Light sends out a wide band of wavelengths and filters it down to the range your skin needs, which is why one handpiece can be aimed at very different things.
How much does a BBL® photofacial cost?
From $500. Please call for pricing and to schedule a consultation. We partner with Cherry, so you can split the cost of a treatment into monthly payments. Applying takes about a minute on your phone, and checking what you qualify for does not affect your credit score. Ask at checkout, or raise it at your consultation and we will walk you through what fits. Cost planning is part of the plan we build with you, not a surprise at the end: every price comes from our published menu, so you can think it over at home first.
Is there downtime after a BBL photofacial?
Very little for most visits, and what there is has a known shape. Expect some redness that typically settles within a few hours, and pigmented spots that darken first, then fade and flake away over the following days. That darkening is normal — sun spots become briefly more visible before they fade — and we walk you through it before you leave.
Can I go in the sun after BBL?
We ask that treated skin stay out of direct sun for fourteen days afterwards, and that extended sun exposure be avoided beforehand too, since a tan changes what the light is aimed at. In Phoenix that is a real scheduling question, not fine print — if a pool weekend or a hiking trip sits near the appointment, tell us and we will plan around it.
How many BBL sessions will I need?
There is no honest universal number, and we would rather not print a guess. The effect compounds, visit over visit, so plans usually involve more than one — how many, and how far apart, depends on your skin and your goals. That is exactly what the free consultation is for, and you will leave it with a number and the reasoning behind it.
Is the consultation free?
Yes, always. A consultation here is a real appointment with a medical professional, at no charge, with no pressure and no obligation attached. We talk through your skin, your goals, and what we would honestly recommend, and you leave with a plan you can take home. Plenty of people book nothing that day, and that is fine with us.
