- How much do dermal fillers cost?
- From $650. Consultation required. We partner with Cherry, so you can split the cost of a treatment into monthly payments. Applying takes about a minute on your phone, and checking what you qualify for does not affect your credit score. Cost planning is part of the plan we build with you, not a surprise at the end: every price comes from our published menu except HALO® and biostimulators, which are priced at your consultation, so you can think it over at home first.
- What should I expect right after a filler appointment?
- A hyaluronic-acid gel has been placed, and the skin around it responds: some swelling, tenderness, sometimes a bruise. For most of the fillers we use, the FDA labeling describes those responses as short-lived, usually going away within one to two weeks; for JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC it gives two to four weeks. If anything worries you while you heal, call us.
- Will filler look natural, or will I look overdone?
- Natural is the brief we give ourselves. Placement is everything with filler, which is why every plan here begins with a consultation: we study your features and aim for a refreshed, balanced result that still looks like you. And if what you are asking for is not what we would honestly recommend, we will say so before anything is placed — an honest no costs nothing here.
- Can I get filler close to a big event?
- Leave room. For most of the fillers we use, the FDA labeling describes the skin's responses — swelling, tenderness, sometimes a bruise — as usually going away within one to two weeks, and for JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC within two to four, so a date inside that window is cutting it close, especially if filler is new to you. Tell us the date when you book and we will place the appointment where the calendar can absorb the healing.
- Does filler hurt?
- It is not painless, but most people find it easily tolerated; you may feel pressure or a stinging feeling as the gel goes in. Ice or a numbing cream can help, and the area may feel tender for a day or two afterwards.
- How long does filler last?
- Hyaluronic-acid filler is temporary. The American Academy of Dermatology puts it at about four to twelve months, and it varies with the area treated and with you, so keeping a result means repeat visits on whatever schedule suits you.
- When will I see results from filler?
- Most of the change shows right away, because the gel adds volume as it is placed. Swelling can blur the picture at first, and the FDA labeling for most of the fillers we use describes that as usually going away within one to two weeks (two to four for JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC), so judge the result once it has settled.
- How long does a filler appointment take?
- It is booked for an hour. The injections often take fifteen to thirty minutes of that, depending on how many areas are treated, and your first treatment starts with a free consultation, held at the start of that visit.
- Should I get filler or a wrinkle relaxer?
- They do different jobs. Filler adds volume with a hyaluronic-acid gel, to the lips, cheeks, chin or deeper folds; a wrinkle relaxer softens lines that come from movement, like frown lines and crow's feet, by relaxing the muscle that creases them. Some people need one, some both, and the free consultation is where we work out which fits what you see.
- Do you offer lip filler?
- Yes. Lip filler, sometimes called lip injections, is a hyaluronic-acid gel placed to bring shape and definition back to the lips. We work by the whole syringe, from $650, and every plan starts with a free consultation with our nurse practitioner or our registered nurse injector. If what you want is a little more of the upper lip showing rather than more volume, a lip flip may suit you better, and we will say so.
- Can filler be used on the cheeks, chin or jawline?
- Yes. Facial fillers are not only for the lips: hyaluronic-acid filler can also lift the cheeks, soften deeper folds, and bring definition back to the chin and jawline. Placement is everything, so how many syringes and where they go are decided at a free consultation, where we study your features and aim for a balanced result that still looks like you.
- Is the consultation free?
- Yes, always. A consultation here is a real appointment with our nurse practitioner, our registered nurse or one of our licensed aestheticians, depending on the treatment, at no charge, with no pressure and no obligation attached.
