The appointment is twenty minutes, the price is $150, and every one is done by our nurse practitioner or our registered nurse injector. Like every injectable here, it starts with a free consultation, and if a lip flip is not the right fit for what you want, we will say so. Lip filler is a different conversation, on its own page.
The wrinkle relaxer we use for the lip flip is BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA), by Allergan Aesthetics.

- What is a lip flip?

- How much does a lip flip cost?
- $150. We partner with Cherry, so you can split the cost of a treatment into monthly payments. Applying takes about a minute on your phone, and checking what you qualify for does not affect your credit score. - Is a lip flip the same as lip filler?
- No. Filler adds volume with a hyaluronic-acid gel. A lip flip adds nothing to the lip: a small amount of wrinkle relaxer lets the upper lip rest slightly turned out, so more of it shows. Which one suits what you want is exactly what the free consultation is for, and sometimes the answer is neither.
- How long does a lip flip appointment take?
- It is booked for twenty minutes. Like every injectable here, your first one starts with a free consultation, held at the start of that visit.
- How long does a lip flip last?
- It varies with the dose and with you, so it is one of the things we go over at your consultation rather than promise on a page. Ask, and you will get a straight answer for your face.
- Who does the lip flip?
- A licensed nurse, every time: our nurse practitioner or our registered nurse injector. Aestheticians do not inject here.
- Does a lip flip hurt?
- Most people describe it as a few quick pinches. It takes only a small number of placements with a very fine needle, and any tenderness usually passes within a day.
- When will I see results from a lip flip?
- Not on the day. The effect builds gradually, and in published studies the change was assessed at about two weeks, so that is the point to judge it. Results vary.
- Is there downtime after a lip flip?
- Very little: most people go straight back to their day. For a while the upper lip can feel a little different with things like drinking through a straw or whistling, and that is temporary.
- Is the consultation free?
- Yes, always.
