A peel peels, and once it starts it is neither optional nor negotiable. Peeling generally begins around day three and continues for three to four days after that, and we ask you to keep out of direct sun for the first week. The American Academy of Dermatology puts healing at one to seven days for a light peel and seven to fourteen for a medium one. Two weeks out is comfortable. Three days out is not.

The BioRePeel is an Italian TCA peel its maker describes as a two-phase, “no-peel” peel, and we do not put a peeling window on it. Which one suits your skin is decided at the consultation.

- Most people feel some warmth and tingling at first that fades quickly. Its maker describes the application as virtually painless; the peeling comes days later.
- How long does a VI Peel appointment take?
- We book forty-five minutes for every VI Peel formula, with dermaplaning included.

- Yes, always.
