What Does a Med Spa Series Price Actually Buy You?

A series price is one published number for a set of visits, usually three, bought together. It exists because some treatments are recommended as more than one session, and a practice that knows that can price the whole arc rather than each visit on its own.

It is a commitment in both directions. You commit to the set of visits, and the practice commits to a lower total for them than the same visits booked one at a time. Neither half is a favor. The lower total is what you get for saying yes to a plan up front, and a series price with no saving in it is just three appointments with a bow on them.

Microneedling uses ultra-fine needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin, and the skin's own healing response follows. Each visit is one round of that. For the fullest results we recommend a series of three, and the American Academy of Dermatology likewise describes more than one session as typical for the results people want.

That is the honest reason for the series line on our menu: the recommendation came first and the price was shaped to fit it. The same is true of microneedling with PDRN, which is the same needling with PDRN applied through the channels it opens, and which we recommend as a series of three for the same reason.

Three single microneedling sessions come to $675 and the series is published from $600. For PDRN the same three visits come to $1,050 against a series from $1,000. The neck and décolletage are listed as add-ons, $50 each with microneedling and $125 each with PDRN, and how they fit into a series plan is part of what the consultation settles.

So the word “from” is doing honest work in both series prices. It marks the face-only version. Add-ons and anything else the plan calls for move it, and the consultation is where the exact total gets written down before you decide anything.

Three visits, and a short quiet stretch after each. Right afterwards the skin is typically flushed and can feel like a mild sunburn; the American Academy of Dermatology describes those reactions as usually disappearing in a few days to a week, and advises waiting twenty-four hours before makeup goes back on.

How the visits are spaced is set with your provider at the first appointment, so the calendar question is less about a fixed interval and more about finding three windows in the months ahead where a few flushed days would not matter.
